tobyMac Week On iTunes

(I would've gotten this is sooner, but I wasn't able to access Blogger for some reason.)

This week is tobyMac week on iTunes. It has listed his favorite movies (which include Finding Nemo, The Lord of the Rings, etc.) and his favorite music. I'm skeptical that iTunes actually asks the artist those questions. And this is NOT just from looking at tobyMac's faves. (I highly, HIGHLY doubt he likes Taylor Swift.) They just do it to get more money, in my opinion. Am I right or wrong?

To add on to this, Tonight Deluxe Edition has peaked at number 2 on iTunes! Congratulations!

Mariah Carey's New Video "Angels Cry" Feat. Ne-Yo

Obsessed singer Mariah Carey has a new video and single, Angels Cry, from her upcoming album Angels Advocate.

Carrie Underwood In Her First Movie Role!

Carrie Underwood has landed a role in the upcoming movie Soul Surfer! To learn more, go to the following link at Carrie's official site.

Carrie Underwood Sings The National Anthem Beautifully At The SuperBowl

Carrie Underwood sang our National Anthem wonderfully last night, live at the SuperBowl. I don't know why people are saying she missed the last note and making fun of her for it. Number one, she hit every note perfectly. Number two, she's under a lot of pressure, singing at the SUPERBOWL in front of ALL AMERICA LIVE! Wouldn't you be nervous if you sang in front of America? Go to this link and read the nasty comments about her performance.

Congratulations New Orleans Saints!

Congratulations, Saints, on winning your first SuperBowl against Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts 31-17!!! You put up a tough fight, and you deserve it. THANK YOU FOR BEATING THEM! (I've been getting annoyed at people who say Peyton Manning's the best quarterback ever.)

Red Carpet: Mary J. Blige

Mary J. Blige arrived at the Red Carpet with style. She wore a lovely fuchsia silk crepe gown by Gucci, along with a crocodile clutch, also by Gucci.

Red Carpet: Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus wasn't up for any nominations that night, but was to present an award. The Party In The U.S.A. screecher wore a lovely Herve Leger dress, Balenciaga shoes, a Judith Leiber bag, and Lorraine Schwartz & Ofira Schwartz jewelry.

Red Carpet: Black Eyed Peas

The Black Eyed Peas arrived on the Red Carpet with style. (Love Fergie's dress, a blue Pucci dress.) The group was nominated for 6 awards and won 3. The E.N.D. was nominated for Album Of The Year and won Best Pop Vocal Album. I Gotta Feeling was nominated for Record Of The Year and won Best Pop Performance By A Duo/Group With Vocals. Boom Boom Pow was nominated for Best Dance Recording and won Best Short Form Music Video.

Red Carpet: Lady Antebellum

(Hope I got the right picture, there's so many in my My Pictures folder!)

Lady Antebellum looked wonderful on the Red Carpet. They won Best Country Performance By A Group/Duo with Vocals for I Run To You. I Run To You was also nominated for Best Country Song, but lost to Taylor Swift's pop song White Horse.

Red Carpet: Katy Perry

Katy Perry graced the Red Carpet in a beautiful backless Zac Posen gown, Casadei heels, Dijan earrings, and a Judith Leiber Elephant bag. The Waking Up In Vegas crooner was nominated for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for Hot N Cold, but lost to Beyonce's Halo.

Red Carpet: Lady Gaga

The queen of [outgoing] fashion (AKA Lady Gaga) rocked the Red Carpet wearing a custom-made Giorgio Armani Prive gown with fabulous heels to match. The Poker Face singer took home 2 of the 5 awards she was nominated for. (Won: Best Electronic/Dance Album for The Fame & Best Dance Recording for Poker Face; Nominated: Album of the Year for The Fame, Song & Record of the Year for Poker Face).

Red Carpet: Rihanna

Rihanna shines on the Grammys Red Carpet. She wore a high neck, open back crepe gown with chiffon applique, stone and feather detailing at the bodice from Elie Saab Haute Couture, earrings and a bracelet by Neil Lane, rings from Diamond in the Rough, and “Lance” sandals by Jimmy Choo. The Disturbia singer won Best Rap/Sung Collaboration and Best Rap Song, both for Run This Town. Congrats!

Red Carpet: Carrie Underwood

Carrie Underwood looks like a goddess on the Red Carpet wearing a white Edition by George Chakra gown, with Ippolita Silver Triple Drop earrings and a Swarovski silver clutch. (Love the hair, BTW.) She was nominated for Best Female Country Vocal Performance for Just A Dream, yet lost to the pop song White Horse by the nediocre Taylor Swift. She won Best Country Collaboration of Vocals with Randy Travis for I Told You So. I guarantee Taylor will be stealing more of Carrie's country awards with her pop "music". Congratulations!

Red Carpet: Taylor Swift

Pictured is Taylor Swift wearing a beautiful Kaufman Franco dress with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and Christian Louboutin shoes. She won Album of the Year and Best Country Album for Fearless, and Best Female Country Vocal Performance and Best Country Song for White Horse. With her Album of the Year win, she became the youngest person to receive that award. She was also nominated for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for You Belong With Me. Breathe, with Colbie Caillat, was nominated for Best Pop Collaboration of Vocals (ironically went to another collaboration of Colbie's). In my musical opinion, she did not deserve any of the nominations or awards she received. There are other pieces of music and other artists who are much more talented that deserve it more than her.

Red Carpet: Beyoncé

Beyonce looks stunning at the 2010 Grammys Red Carpet in a tight pink Stephane Rolland dress, accessorized in Lorraine Schwortz jewelry and Casadei shoes. She was nominated for Record of the Year, Song Of The Year, Album of the Year, Best Female Pop & R&B Vocal Performance, Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance, Best R&B Song, Best Conteporary R&B Album, Best Rap/Sung Collaboration, and Best Song Written For Visual Media. She won 6 of the 10 (click here for more details), including Song Of The Year, making Grammy history for the most wins by any female artist at one show. Congratulations!

This Song Made Me A Lady Antebellum Fan!!!

Great video, love the unexpected ending.

They Got It All Wrong At The Grammys!

Well, my favorite awards show was on last night (The Grammys). Of course, I watched it. And boy, they got it ALL WRONG! Let's start off with general.
